TECHNIQUE ANSWERING SCIENCE SECTION B
1. OBSERVING/ PEMERHATIAN
Involves the use of our senses to identify and describe an objects properties from the findings of an experiment in the from of graph, table or quotation
Perkara yang dapat dilihat daripada keputusan ujikaji selalunya ditulis
dalam bentuk graf, jadual petikan atau sbgnya.
Candidates need to compare all observation made and make a note.
Pastikan dibuat perbandingan jika soalan memerlukan demikian.
2. INFERRING / INFERENS
An explanation or interpretation or an observation.
Penerangan atau sebab apa terjadinya pemerhatian di atas.
Make certain, each inference is different with comparison made earlier.
Pastikan inferens pertama berbeza daripada inferens yang kedua dan buat perbandingan juga.
Bina ayat dengan perkataan ( kerana …………… )
3. VARIABLE / INFORMATION / PEMBOLEHUBAH/MAKLUMAT
i.Manipulative Variable ( MV )
Pembolehubah Dimanipulasi

ii.Responding Variable ( RV )

What to remain the same before or after an experiment and do not
state more than one.

4. CONSTUCTING HYPOTHESIS/ MEMBINA HIPOTESIS
Making general statement about manipulated variable and responding variable relationship to tested its validity. In other words, early expectations.
Sentence Structure purpose:
The more/less - manipulated variable – The more/less – responding
variable
Or
If - manipulated variable - is increased/ decreased, the - responding
variable – would increase/decreased .
5. INVESTIGATION MOTIVE / AIM OF INVESTIGATION/ TUJUAN PENYIASATAN.
Purpose of the investigation.
Sentence structure purpose:
To investigate the relationships between - the manipulated variable-
and responding variable
6. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN VARIABLE / INFORMATION/ HUBUNGAN ANTARA PEMBOLEHUBAH ATAU MAKLUMAT
Sentence pattern is similar to hypothesis
Choose the appropriate pattern.
If - manipulated variable - is increased/ decreased, the - responding variable would increase/decreased .
7. CONCLUSION / SUMMARY/ KESIMPULAN/RUMUSAN
Suggested sentence pattern:
When – manipulated variable is increased/ decreased– the – responding
variable is increase / decrease .
Responding variable increase/decrease when Manipulated variable increase/decrease
Cadangan :-
Jika berlaku dimana pemerhatian mempunyai perbandingan jawapan
kesimpulan ditulis perbandingan.
8. PREDICTION/ RAMALAN
When predicting numbers, candidates are advised to do calculations.
Only a single number should be presented.
9. POLARISATION / PATTERN/ CORAK.
Digit or number changes on graphs, text or table.
Use words such as ‘ increasing’ , ‘decreasing’ or ‘same’/constant. .,
10. OTHER OBSERVATION/PEMERHATIAN LAIN
A side-effect after an experiment had been implemented other than the first observation.
